Doraleh Contrainer Terminal S.A (DCT S.A) offers world class facilities including:
• 1.6 millions TEU of handling capacity
• 1 050 meters of quay length
• 8 Super Post Panamax quay cranes ( with twin lift capacity)
• 18 meters draught which allows DCT to accommodate latest generation vessels

 

The Terminal was inaugurated on February 07th, 2009 with capability of handling super Post Panamax container vessels such as Ivan Hoe of CMA CGM (9700 TEUs) and Cosco Indian Ocean of Cosco Line (more than 10 700 TEUS) who were operated at Doraleh Container Terminal S.A. The handling capacity will be extended to 3 millions TEUs after the completion of Phase II.

 

Doraleh Container Terminal equipment 

• Eight (8) Super Post Panamax ship to shore cranes with a lifting capacity of 50 tonnes single lift, 65 tonnes twin lift and 80 tonnes under hook with an outreach of 65m, a lift height above wharf of 40m and total lift height of 56m.
• Twenty four (24) Rubber Tyred Gantry Cranes RTG(s) with a lifting capacity of 41 tonnes, stacking on 1over 5 height, six (6) of them are ECO RTG with 360° rotation ability;
• Six(6) heavy Reachstakers with lifting capacity of 40 tones
• Three (3) empty Reachstackers
• Sixty three (63) yard tractors
• 480 Reefer plug points
